Undoubtelly the living mascot of Zakynthos island is the "Caretta-Caretta" sea turtle, which has been a very important element of its tourism product. You may visit information spots and nesting beaches to learn about their protection, combined always with the dreamiest views.The South part of Zakynthos is also hiding a variety of tourist gems which are waiting to be discovered!

STOPS

• CITY CENTRE (St. Dennis church, Ammos primary school, National Bank of Greece, Solomos square and St. Nicholas church. The above buildings are the only ones remaining since the big earthquake in 1953.)
• KALAMAKI VILLAGE/ LAGANAS VILLAGE (A bay of 8km in total, including spots, where you may become aware of the hottest tourist areas and discuss with Caretta-Caretta experts)
• MIZITHRES VIEW (This stop requires a 30 minute walk, in order to reach the panormic view of Mizithres)
• KERI LAKE(View of Marathonisi , aka "Turtle Island", and of the unique Keri beach)
